Great Falls High School wasn't even supposed to make the 2012 State Softball Tournament, but when the playoffs started, so did the most impressive winning streak in their team's history.

The Bison began Saturday just 1 win away from the program's first ever title.

CMR, fresh off a loss to their crosstown rivals in the semifinals, began the day with their backs against the wall, needing 3 wins in 3 games to hang a banner.

The Rustlers came through, defeating the Bison in the last game with a final score of 17-9.
