How windy is it? Gusts of up to 79 miles per hour have been reported in some areas, and KRTV friend Robert sent us this picture which shows how dangerous the winds can be, especially for high-profile vehicles.

He took the picture about two miles east of Browning on Wednesday morning, and says winds in the area have been gusting up to 65 miles per hour and that some roads are icy.

Robert says that the 11 students and the driver on the bus were NOT injured, thankfully.

Meteorologist Matt Jones says that very strong winds will continue to affect all of north central Montana throughout the day, and that gusts near 90 mph will be possible on the Rocky Mountain Front in some passes and canyons.

Across the lower elevation plains, gusts to 65 mph will be possible.

Along and west of the Rocky Mountain Front, snowfall will combine with the strong winds to reduce visibilities and create hazardous driving conditions.
