If you connect to the internet using Bridgemaxx in Great Falls and have heard rumors about the company's demise, don't panic.
Al Gonzalez of the Great Falls office told KRTV on Friday that the company is doing fine in Montana and there is no closure in the future.
A recent comment on a Great Falls blog indicated that the Bridgemaxx store in Idaho Falls, Idaho, had closed; an entry on an anti-Bridgemaxx website states that the Idaho Falls store has been purchased by Syringa Networks.
Gonzalez said that he doesn't know any details about the Idaho office, but said that the Great Falls business is "...better than we've ever been before."
He pointed out that Bridgemaxx upgraded its equipment in Great Falls in January, and added a sixth service tower recently to expand coverage and improve service.
Gonzalez also noted that Bridgemaxx in Missoula recently upgraded to a new office.
