Maurice Myers, charged with raping a 13 year old girl in June 2011, changed his plea to guilty on Tuesday in Great Falls.
Court documents say that Myers admitted to having sex with the 13 year old, but at the time of the incident, Myers said he thought she was 17.
The victim was reportedly given a large amount of alcohol and told police she blacked out.
In exchange for the plea, the state dropped a pending charge of theft against Myers.
The binding agreement calls for four years in prison, and an additional four years suspended.
Myers' previous criminal charges include robbery, attempted murder, and assault with a weapon.
(June 23, 2011) A second person has admitted to raping a 13 year old Great Falls girl.
Maurice Denaye Myers has been charged with sexual intercourse without consent.
Last week, Timothy Moench of Great Falls admitted to having sex with the girl and appeared in court on a felony charge on Monday, June 20th.
Moench was caught on Friday night raping the young girl in the house that authorities said he shares with the victim's family; police say Moench has rented part of the southside home for the past few months.
Moench reportedly claims the girl told him she was 19 years old and that the sex was consensual; the age of consent in Montana is 16.
Moench admitted that he had sex with the girl four times over the course of two hours.
Court documents state that the girl, when interviewed about the incident, told police that she was given a large quantity of alcohol and blacked out.
While being questioned by police, Moench said that Myers had also engaged in sex with the girl.
Myers was subsequently questioned and admitted having sexual intercourse with her, saying that he believed she was 17 years old.
Myers has a pending charge for possession of a stolen car and an outstanding warrant in New Jersey for possession of stolen property. He also has a conviction in Texas for evading arrest and robbery.
His bail was set at $50,000.
