Michael B. Loftis, a 35-year-old Helena valley man, has been found dead near Superior.

Loftis had been missing for nearly two weeks and authorities had asked for the public's help in locating him.

Loftis was reported missing by his wife on January 16th.

According to reports the couple had a confrontation and Mr. Loftis left.

Loftis also reportedly bought a gun at Capital Sports & Western the day before he disappeared.

The circumstances of Loftis' death are being investigated; we will update you as we learn more.
