GREAT FALLS - Great Falls High softball coach Ken Berg has resigned from his position effective immediately, announced the Great Falls athletic department on Tuesday.

Berg took over the Lady Bison in 2007, after serving as the Great Falls Softball Association President. Last season, Berg led the Lady Bison to a decisive three-game playoff series against Billings Skyview, where the team led 3-0 before surrendering the game-winning hit in extra innings. Great Falls High is still seeking its first ever State Softball Championship.
