The Super Bowl has become one of the biggest social events of the year, as family and friends gather with their favorite foods and beverages to watch the big game.

But for some people, spending the day with loved ones and the food of their choice isn't an option.

We talked with Senior Master Sergeant Ronny Grina of the Montana Air National Guard, who is currently deployed to Kuwait.

She took some time off from her duties to watch the game with her fellow Airmen - at 3 o'clock in the morning.

Grina told KRTV, "I'm in a base theater with a nice surround system and a big picture...and probably seeing more of the game than if I were at home chasing my 3-year old around!"

Grina says there was a bonfire and pre-game party on base before the game.

Grina is scheduled to be back home in in Montana in May.
