David Sherman, a retired US Air Force officer, joined Montana's News Station in August 2008.

As the Online News Producer, he takes the stories that the news staff brings in from the field and "converts" them into web-sized chunks, always trying to include helpful links and online extras for readers so that they can get as much out of a story as possible.

He also posts occasional web-only stories that he thinks might be of interest to avid web surfers and news junkies. He occasionally appears on a newscast under the moniker "Dot Com Dave."

David loves (1) Great Falls & Montana, (2) all things internet & "webby," and (3) current events & media. His role as Online News Producer allows him to integrate all three of his hobbies!

He has called Great Falls home since arriving here in 2002 and can't imagine a better place to live. He has two grown children and an awesome bride-to-be. He has been blogging for several years at GreaterFalls.com.

David is the "voice" of KRTV on Twitter and also manages the KRTV Facebook page(see below).
