The Montana Department of Livestock is giving brand holders one more chance to re-record their brands.
Livestock owners were supposed to register their brand with the agency by December 31st.

According to the National Safety Council, agriculture has the second highest rate of work-related injuries and deaths of any industry. Now a program in Teton County aims to combat the trend by offering safety tips to farmers, ranchers, and first responders on scene.
